What does it cost?
The app, QR self-join, live tracker, waitlist tools, and public menus are free with no card on file. Pro is $200/mo, flat, cancel anytime. It adds guest texting, host-added parties, message-template packs, unbranded QR codes, and a custom account menu link.
Can we run QR-only and skip texts?
Yes. Guests can join by QR and follow their tracker for free. No subscription or text message is required.
How long does setup take?
Under three minutes. Sign in with Google or Apple, create your waitlist, and put the QR where guests can scan it.
What languages do guests see?
Guest-facing web surfaces support English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Tagalog. The host app remains English.
Can we try it next to our paper list?
Yes. Run Shokken alongside your current waitlist for a shift or two and see how it fits.
What if our Wi-Fi is spotty?
Shokken needs an internet connection through Wi-Fi or cellular. If the connection drops, the app cannot sync the waitlist or send texts until it returns.
Is Shokken only for Las Vegas restaurants?
Shokken is available for restaurants in the United States. Las Vegas is where we are, so in-person setup help is available only there.
Do guests have to download anything?
No. Guests join and track their place in a browser. With Pro, they can also receive text updates.
Can guests remove themselves?
Yes. Their tracker includes a leave action, so parties whose plans change can remove themselves from the list.
What devices does it run on?
The host app runs on modern Apple and Android phones and tablets. Kiosk mode works on any tablet at the host stand.
Are public menus free?
Yes. Building, publishing, and sharing a menu at its automatically assigned account URL are free. Choosing a custom account-level vanity slug requires Pro.
