What does it cost?
Shokken is free to download and use. QR self-join is free. A paid subscription is only required for guest text notifications. Terms
Can we run QR-only and skip SMS?
Yes. You can run QR self-join without SMS. QR-only use is free and does not require a subscription.
How long does setup take on first shift?
Under 3 minutes. Sign in with Google or Apple in one tap, create your waitlist, and you're ready to go.
Can we try it without changing our current process?
Yes — you can run Shokken alongside your current waitlist for a shift or two to see how it fits.
What happens if Wi-Fi/cell is spotty?
Shokken requires an internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular). If connectivity drops, the app can't sync waitlist activity or send SMS alerts.
Is Shokken only for Las Vegas restaurants?
No. Shokken is available everywhere; in-person setup is only available in Las Vegas.
Do guests need to download anything?
No. Guests receive a text with a link to track their place in line. No app or account required.
How does QR join work?
Open QR Join Mode on your host device and face it toward the door. Guests scan the code, join themselves, and get a live tracking link instantly.
Can guests remove themselves from the waitlist?
Yes. The tracking link includes an option for guests to remove themselves if plans change.
